Happy December everyone. Can’t believe we are in the last month of 2017! Also I’m strangely weirded out that it’s almost 2020, but I digress. Since it’s still the beginning of the month and holiday shopping is likely on your mind, I’m posting the next edition of my Holiday gift guide, and this was a tricky one! Shopping for the men in our lives can be difficult. When I asked my husband for some guidance on this post, his response was “Men like gifts that they need everyday, but are too lazy to buy for themselves” So, looks like he’ll be getting socks, underwear, and deodorant this year… that was easy! (I’m kidding of course, but he definitely wasn’t.). I’ve rounded up a few gifts for your special gents whether it be significant other, father, brother, best guy friend…whoever!
My hubby and I have a tradition of getting each other a new pair of tennis shoes every year. This started when we were living in Hawaii and were always hiking/going to the gym. New Nikes are something we look forward to, plus, it’s kind of fool proof. I love the Nike Free Run line because they are very lightweight and so comfortable. These are currently on sale and a great option for a simple running shoe if you’re in the market for a pair. These do run small, so size up.
When we were packing for our trip to New York City, my husband used one of these foldable garment bags to pack is suits and coats. He loved being able to have everything stored and organized neatly. This particular option is also waterproof which can be really convenient when traveling.

Next up is this HEX phone case + wallet. I really like this idea for my husband because his wallet is currently a handy dandy binder clip. (Yes, like the kind you buy at office supply stores to hold stacks of paper. Which I guess, is still technically serving its purpose). This is perfect because it has compartments for important cards, id, and cash. And let’s face it… it looks better than a binder clip.

The next item I’d like to mention is the perfect gift for any coffee lover on your list, and one that I can vouch for personally. We registered for this exact french press for our wedding, and it is hands down the gift we use the most. If you’ve never used a french press, they are SO simple and will make the best cup of coffee! Whoever the lucky recipient is won’t be disappointed. We love, love, LOVE this.
My hubby works pretty long hours sometimes, so he’s very into planning his meals ahead of time. A while ago, I found some tupperware containers that had different compartments in them and he loved those. Most recently, I found this cooler bag that comes with containers, cutlery, and has space to store the containers. It’s a functional gift and one that will definitely get a ton of use for those men in your life that are into fitness, or trying to make better meal choices in the new year 😉

Hopefully this little guide gives you a good place to start, or at least gets the gears turning! Any other brilliant gift ideas? I’d love to hear them!
