Yes, I know it seems like I was just sharing Christmas looks on the blog, but somehow it is already mid-January and Valentine’s Day is next on my radar! There seems to be a ton of mixed feelings about this holiday, as some absolutely love it and others feel that it’s a shallow day that bears no real significance to their relationship. I personally don’t have strong feelings for it one way or another, but I think that any intentional day set aside to let someone know how much you love them, should always be celebrated (albeit, not just on February 14th!). It’s no secret that I love a good excuse to dress up, so I wanted to share this festive red dress as an option for those of you who do have something fun planned with your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day!
If you have followed my blog/instagram for some time, you’ll know that my favorite style of clothing is off-the-shoulder (even though my close friends tease that my collar bones look like soup-bowls lol!). It’s my go-to for any special occasion, and a style that I feel most confident in. I found this body-con off-the-shoulder dress from Nordstrom, and thought it was the perfect choice for a date night. Unfortunately, it SOLD OUT in red so quickly! Such a bummer, but fear not! I’ve found some practically identical alternatives:
